First alert model TS212WH is a 24 hour electronic timer designed to automatically control an electric water heater the meets the timers specification. This model has combined simple programming with the innovation of digital technology. The digital programmer allows “to the minute” accuracy, while still maintaining an easy and effective means of programming.
The TS212WH will provide anywhere from 1-8 events (ON or OFF) Per day. Once the timer is installed and the schedule of events program, the timer will control the electric water heater so that it follows the schedule every day of the week. The TS212WH also comes equipped with an “ON-OFF OVERRIDE” feature. This allows the user to bypass the current event and manually switch the electric water heater either ON or OFF. The timer will then return to its normal operating procedure at the next scheduled event. The TS212WH also has a battery back-up system that will maintain the program functions for up to two months in case of a temporary power failure.
